this grade II listed property in central london had been unoccupied for a number of years and had fallen into disrepair. a private client bought the property with the view to renovating it for his family home. in spite of the lack of care that the building had had, many of the original features were still in place, if in need of a substantial amount of tlc. along with the renovation work of the existing period features, all vetted under the watchful eye of the conservation officer, the client's vision for the interior was a contemporary one with a real attention to detail. any reproduction work that was required due to the listing status was carried out from highly detailed drawings. these details were continued through to bespoke furniture, doors, stairs, fittings and a new build breakfast room. tamsin worked alongside interior designers from ralph lauren to create the modern internal response, always ensuring that the design enhanced the inherent characteristics of the individual rooms, in order to provide a considered, sensitive environment.
